Why do a home DNA test?

As humans, we each have between 20,000 and 25,000 genes. Most genes are the same in all of us, but there will be differences in less than one percent of them, which is what makes each of us totally unique.

The science of genetics is helping us to understand what these small differences mean.

Research has shown that your genes affect how you respond to your surroundings and experiences. Tiny variations can affect how your muscles form and behave, how your body uses the major food groups and whether you are likely to lack certain vitamins or minerals. Understanding this can dramatically improve your general health and can help you avoid illness.

With any DNA Kit from Muhdo you will receive access to a raft of reports that will better equip you for whatever lies ahead.

Learn how your body responds to certain foods. Use information about genetic weaknesses to plan ahead. Understand about your personal exercise recovery times. And be a master of vitamin and supplement combinations tailored to you.

Whatever health goal you choose, your Muhdo DNA profile results will dynamically adjust. You can seamlessly switch between the 4 available health goals whenever your objectives change.

Access to 300+ DNA reports with expert recommendationsnutrition plans and workout schedules. All in a mobile app and aligned to your DNA.

What is DNA?

Deoxyribonucleic acid or DNA (which is frustratingly hard to pronounce), is beautiful in its elegance and until recently almost impenetrable in its complexity. The DNA molecule is composed of two chains that coil around each other to form a double helix carrying the genetic instructions used in the growth, development, functioning, and reproduction of all known organisms.

It has been said that we share 50% of our DNA with a banana. The 50 per cent figure for people and bananas roughly means that half of our genes have counterparts in bananas. For example, both of us have some kind of gene that codes for cell growth, though these aren’t necessarily made up of the same DNA sequences. The exciting thing is that you and I are unique!
